Goals and Objectives

Goals
  • Provide the school community with inovative educational practices using experiences developed in response to catastrophic events such  as the Covid Epidemic.
  • Leverage the advantages of smaller learning community structures (SLCʻs)  in the form of academies to deliver these practices.
 
Objectives
  • Provide support to community groups impacted by the Covid Epidemic through school level projects delivering this support.
  • Use school level projects to provide students with real life experiences.
  • Develop early college course delivery adjustments to events caused by situations such as the Covid Epidemic.
  • Provide teachers with skills to develop inovative solutions to situations brought about by events such as the Covid Epidemic.
  • Identify best practices in these areas to adopt as standard practices in Hawaiʻi Academies (HA) operations and HA member school operations.
