Vision
James Campbell High School Graduates will realize their personal and professional goals with the drive to persevere through adversity. They are effective communicators and compassionate leaders who think critically, innovate, and contribute to our global society
Mission
James Campbell High School is a safe, positive place where life skills are learned and applied to meet the challenges of a changing society.
James Campbell High School (JCHS) is the epicenter of Saber Nation, where we provide a positive, safe and engaging environment for our students, staff and the Ewa Beach community.

CampbellJROTCThe Academies of James Campbell High School provide smaller learning environments and are based on the guiding principle that students will thrive when they are supported by a cohesive team of educations, families, community leaders, and business partners. Through cohorting of students in detailed programs of study, they will embark on clear pathways to achieve their postsecondary ambitions.

Our school design allows a large comprehensive high school to have a small school feel while providing for a wide array of programs and services. Each academy has its own dedicated building(s) on campus as well as dedicated staff (Academy Principal, Academy Counselor and Academy Teachers). All students take fi ne arts and world language classes to ensure a well rounded experience.

JCHS also offers programs such as the Naval JROTC Program which is an award-winning, nationally-recognized program that has been named a Distinguished Unit with Honors. Since 2007, our AVID program has maintained its National Demonstration School status indicating stellar achievement as an AVID Schoolwide Site of Distinction. A host of Advanced Placement courses and Early College Credit options are also available for students. The school operates on a 4X4 block schedule, which allows for flexibility in scheduling and increases the number of credits that students can earn each year. Edgenuity and DOE Eschool courses are available in all content areas and Twilight School is another option for those who elect for an early evening program.

Collaborative and ongoing eff orts with stakeholders create a system that provides all students the experiences and opportunities to develop the skills, knowledge, and dispositions to lead successful lives and to place them in a position to make their dreams and aspirations a reality.
